Photoshop tutorial 1 : Giving shadow effect to text

Hello world!

This is a very basic Photoshop (Ps) tutorial,created for just beginers and photoshop enthusiasts,

This is not an advaced tutorial,Its created in such a way that even people with just know-how of computer can understand,learn and use..

ok lets start!

First Open the Photoshop Deutsch: Logo von Adobe Photoshop. English: Lo...  from your computer,I’m using Adobe Photoshop CS 5 Extended version ,this tutorial can be used in any photoshop version (starting from PS7)

Start>Adobe Photoshop CS 5 is the easy and conventional method.

then,

file_new

Open Photoshop(Ps) and file>new

now you will get a new window as shown below

there you can adjust the size you needed and then click [ok]

then you will get a what i called as workspace

choose the T - tool from the tool box in left side

type what ever you need

you can re-size it by pressing and draging the border as highlighted

now add another text which we will make a shadow of..

Right click the portion where your text is shown as box and select Blending Options

click on DROP SHADOW and adjust as shown

Adjust and do experiments, to save this as image

goto FILE>SAVE AS> IMAGE.JPG

SAVE AS click on the drop down menu just below the
